As i sat in my Photojournalism I class, i felt a sudden conviction to write on my photoblog. For some odd reason i decided that this blog was only going to be filled with my photos and nothing more than that.
Today, i decided to make this blog something greater than myself. When i take photos of nature or people, there is a sense of joy and gratitude for our creator. This world is only made beautiful by the intricate designs of God and his understanding of how we perceive beauty and love.
But when i take photos of ministry, community, and God’s love pouring out on his children, i get emotional and i see His reflection in us. THIS is what drives me. seeing his people live on their knees and praise Him without embarrassment. I’m so thankful for a group of God-loving, Holiness-pursuing, faith-building, intimacy-wanting people of God. When i get to know each person in this ministry and photograph them vulnerable with God, it moves mountains in my heart. My prayer is that my photos will plant seeds and harvest fruit in the lives of anyone that comes across them.
Let not these photos be for my Glory but for the Glory of our Most Holy King.
